SENYORA – The internet persona reacted to the photo of Donnalyn Bartolome.

Senyora Santibañez is an exploitable image of Chantal Andere, the main antagonist in the Mexican telenovela Marimar, a snobbish and stereotypically arrogant Filipino hacienda owner.

Following the success of Marimar’s remake, the character became a meme and internet celebrity in the Philippines. She frequently shares her thoughts about politics as well as other issues such as show business.

It was in 2012 when it was voted the best meme. On November 11, 2012, a Facebook fan page called Senyora Santibañez was created, which later became Senyora. As of today, its Facebook page has over 6 million followers.

On the other hand, Donnalyn Bartolome is an actress, singer, songwriter, and social media personality. She’s dubbed as the “Social Media Sweetheart”. She has over 15 million followers on Facebook, more than 9 million subscribers on YouTube, and over 8 million followers on TikTok.

Recently, Donnalyn went to social media wherein she posted a photo of herself. Her post was accompanied by the caption: “What comes easy won’t last. What lasts won’t come easy.”
