WARREN VILLA – The cause of death of the Vice Mayor of San Juan City has been disclosed following his death.

Villa initially took on the role of vice mayor in 2016 and successfully won re-election in both 2019 and 2022, solidifying his position as a trusted leader within the municipality. In addition to his duties as vice mayor, Villa actively participated as the public relations officer for the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines’ National Capital Region, showcasing his dedication to effective communication and collaboration among local government officials.

His journey in public service commenced in 2008 when he began his career as a city councilor, demonstrating his commitment to serving the community and addressing the needs of its residents. Before embarking on his path in public service, Villa honed his skills and talents as a radio disc jockey for a local station, gaining experience in the field of broadcasting. This background likely provided him with valuable communication skills and a platform to connect with people, both of which are vital in his current role as a vice mayor.

Sadly, he passed away at the age of 52. Villa’s wife, Inah Manalang-Villa, and their son, Hab, are the surviving family members left behind after his unfortunate demise. The city of San Juan, in light of the vice mayor’s passing, has made the decision to cancel the scheduled activities for the Wattah Wattah Festival on Monday, June 19. This decision was made as a gesture of respect for Villa and to provide city hall employees with the opportunity to grieve and mourn his loss.
