Netizen says Paolo Ballesteros is “the ONLY PAOLO that matters”
PAOLO BALLESTEROS – A netizen took to the microblogging site, Twitter, wherein he posted a photo of the former Eat Bulaga host saying that the latter was “the ONLY PAOLO that matters”.
It was on May 31 to June 4, 2023, when the show’s production was temporarily suspended due to a major announcement made by its original hosts, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon. The announcement revealed their decision to part ways with TAPE Inc., the production company behind the show.
The trio made their announcement via a livestream on Eat Bulaga’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel, as the new management of TAPE Inc. did not allow the show to be broadcast live on air. Instead, a replay episode was aired on GMA Network.
Following the announcement, other hosts of the show, including Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Wally Bayola, Ryan Agoncillo, Allan K., and various production members such as cameramen, writers, and sales staff, also submitted their resignations on the same day.
Some netizens couldn’t help but express their sadness over the departure of the original hosts of the noontime show. Even with the introduction of new hosts, there are Dabarkads who still yearn for the presence of the original hosts on the show.
In relation to this, a Twitter user named Krist Arthit recently shared a photo of Paolo Ballesteros on the microblogging site. In his post, he declared that the host-comedian is “the ONLY PAOLO that matters.” As anticipated, the post elicited mixed reactions from netizens, leading to various comments being made.
Meanwhile, Paolo Ballesteros, whose real name is Paolo Elito Macapagal Ballesteros IV, is a multi-talented Filipino personality known for his diverse career in the entertainment industry. He has made a name for himself as an actor, comedian, TV host, model, drag queen, and impersonator. Ballesteros has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, but he is widely recognized as one of the co-hosts of the long-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga!, a role he held from 2001 until May of 2023.
