KZ Tandingan: “One thing that works for us is to be mindful of each other”
KZ TANDINGAN – The singer shared the reason why she and her husband TJ Monterde have no plans to have a baby yet.
Singers TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan got engaged in 2019 and got married a year later at The Farm at San Benito, Batangas.
In a chance interview with reporters on Thursday, the singer said that she and her husband have no plans to have a baby yet because they’re still enjoying their time together as a couple.
KZ, who recently released her new single “Dito Ka Lang”, said that she and TJ tied the knot at the height of the pandemic and they never got a honeymoon.
“We never got a honeymoon na talagang kumbaga, aalis kami ng bansa and only focus is honeymoon,” she said. “Lahat ng mga alis is because nag-extend kami because of work, ‘yun muna. May mga pamangkin kami eh ‘yun na lang muna.”
The singer also said that she has learned many things about her husband since their marriage.

According to her, she learned that love is not just about “kilig” as time goes by. She also said that after they got married, they realized that when a person commits to someone, it takes a lot of hard work.
The singer added that she discovers more about the person, appreciates the things that a person does for her, and love is the only explanation why that person is doing this for her.
The singer shared that one thing that works for her and her husband is to be mindful of each other, putting oneself in the other’s shoes before making a decision.
