KALADKAREN DAVILA – The newest Star Magic artist expressed her desire to work with Kapamilya actor/heartthrob Joshua Garcia.

KaladKaren, whose real name is Jervi Li has become an official Star Magic artist, prompting the press to inquire about her preferred leading men from Kapamilya actors for her future projects.

During the contract signing event, attended by her manager and Star Magic head Direk Lauren Dyogi, at the ABS-CBN building, KaladKaren wasted no time in mentioning popular actors such as Gerald Anderson, Zanjoe Marudo, and Jake Cuenca as her desired on-screen partners. She also expressed interest in working with young actor Seth Fedelin, although acknowledging the age difference between them.

KaladKaren specifically mentioned her admiration for Joshua Garcia, who’s being dubbed “Higop King,” and expressed a keen desire to collaborate with him. She had witnessed Joshua’s performance alongside Jodi Sta. Maria in the GMA-ABS-Viu-Dreamscape Entertainment series “Unbreak My Heart” and was captivated by his talent.

“Siguro, Joshua (Garcia), puwede-pwede na. Saka nakita ko kung ano ‘yung ginawa niya kay Ate Jodi (Sta Maria) do’n sa “Unbreak My Heart.” Parang kaya kong lumaban sa higupan, parang gano’n, masaya naman,” she said. “Saka aktor talaga si Joshua, feeling ko kung makaka-partner ko siya, macha-challenge din ako bilang isang aktres. Laban lang (nang) laban.”

KaladKaren praised Joshua’s acting skills, noting his performance and expressed her belief that collaborating with him would provide an enjoyable and challenging experience. She emphasized her determination to continue growing as an actress and expressed enthusiasm for potential intense scenes with Joshua.
