Iza Calzado: “Forever a daddy’s girl.”
IZA CALZADO – The Kapamilya actress paid tribute to her late dad Lito Calzado on Father’s Day.
The award-winning Kapamilya actress posted a photo with her father on her social media account on Sunday along with a heartfelt message for him to mark Father’s Day this year.
It was last November 2011 when her dad passed away due to liver cancer.
In the caption of her social media post, Iza expressed her gratitude to her dad for showering her with so much love. She also shared that she’s able to give so much love to her daughter Deia Amihan because she learned about genuine love from her dad.
“Thank you for always wrapping me in your warm, sweet and comforting embrace,” she said. “You taught me how to express love so genuinely and I am able to show my child so much love because I learned from the best.”
She ended her social media post by saying that she’s “forever a daddy’s girl” and expressing her love for her dad.
To recall, Iza said in an interview on Kapamilya morning show “Magandang Buhay” last month that her daughter has the “Lito Calzado energy” as there’s something about her daughter that kind of reminds her of her dad.

Aside from greeting her late dad, the Kapamilya actress also greeted her husband Ben Wintle on Father’s Day as well.
Iza posted a video on her social media account where she and her husband can be seen singing “Tong Tong Tong Tong Pakitong-Kitong”. In the caption, she thanked her husband for working hard to give her and their daughter the future he believe they deserve.
She also said that it’s an honor for her to witness him become a better dad, husband, and man every day.
