The actress also asked for guidance from her late mother as she’s preparing to embark on her own journey to motherhood. According to her, it has been 21 years since her mother passed away.

21 years now since you left this world, yet it seems like you always make sure I turn out well. I know a lot of what’s happened in my life are dreams you had for yourself and for me. When I experience those moments, I truly feel your guiding light,” she wrote. “As I prepare to become a mother, I ask for your continued guidance and support. This won’t be an easy ride but I know it will be an incredibly fulfilling one.

Iza went on to confirm the gender of her child by saying that she will have her own “little Mary Ann, little Iza” soon. She then promised to take photos with her baby so she gets to keep those memories with her.

To recall, the actress previously said that she won’t be throwing a gender reveal party for her first child as she believed that gender “is a social and cultural construct”.

Iza Calzado and Ben Wintle have been married since 2018 as thet tied the knot in a beach ceremony in Palawan last December 19, 2018. It was last August 12 when she announced that she and her husband are expecting their first child together.
