Added to the New Set of Hosts on Eat Bulaga: Isko Moreno and Herlene Budol

EAT BULAGA – Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, along with celebrity-influencer Herlene Budol, were announced as part of the new lineup of hosts on the popular noontime show.

Isko Moreno, also known as Isko Moreno Domagoso, is a Filipino politician and actor who served as the 27th mayor of Manila from 2019 to 2022. Prior to his political career, Moreno gained recognition as an actor and television personality. Although he ran for president in the last election, he was not successful. Following the conclusion of his mayoral term on June 30, 2022, Moreno announced his retirement from politics.

On the other hand, Herlene Nicole Policarpio Budol, popularly known as “Hipon Girl,” is a comedienne, model, actress, beauty pageant titleholder, and vlogger. She rose to fame as a co-host on the Philippine variety game show Wowowin, particularly in the segment “Willie of Fortune.” Her talent and funny jokes caught the attention of host Willie Revillame, eventually leading to her becoming a regular co-host on the show.

It was on Monday, June 5, 2023, when Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, Alexa Miro, and the Legaspi twins were introduced as the new hosts of the show.

Apparently, they were heavily criticized by netizens. Amid the criticisms they have been receiving, they’re appealing to the public to give them a chance. Paolo, Betong, and Buboy, on the other hand, stressed that they never have any intention to replace or compete with TVJ, the iconic triumvirate of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Meanwhile, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and celebrity influencer Herlene Budol have been added to the list of hosts on Eat Bulaga. Their participation in the noontime show was confirmed through a Facebook post by News5.
