Celebrities congratulate magna cum laude grad Jhong Hilario
JHONG HILARIO – Netizens and celebrities pour in congratulatory messages to the Instagram post of the actor/dancer/host for graduating magna cum laude.
Hilario successfully obtained a degree in Political Science from Arellano University. During his graduation ceremony, the actor radiated with joy and a sense of accomplishment, having achieved the prestigious distinction of graduating magna cum laude.
After graduating, Jhong Hilario had an interview with TV Patrol, where he talked about his thoughts and experiences during his impressive journey. In the interview, he expressed sincere appreciation for his parents and gave helpful advice to others who aspire to complete their studies.
Then, he went to the social media platform, Instagram wherein he posted a photo of himself donned in a toga. He also shared his college journey on his IG. As expected, it generated congratulations from netizens and even celebrities.
Meanwhile, Jhong Hilario is a multi-talented actor, dancer, television host, and politician. He gained recognition as a member of the renowned Filipino dance group Streetboys and is currently a councilor representing the 1st district of Makati since 2016.
Hilario is widely known for his remarkable performances in antagonist roles on television, particularly as Gary David in the 2010 remake of Mara Clara and as Homer “Alakdan” Adlawan in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He is also a regular host on ABS-CBN’s popular noontime variety show, It’s Showtime.
In the realm of politics, Hilario decided to enter public service and ran for councilor in the 1st district of Makati in 2016 under the United Nationalist Alliance and Abby Binay’s ticket. Inspired by his father’s nine-year service as a councilor, Hilario secured re-election in 2019 and 2022.
