Benjamin Alves: “Happy birthday Dad. I love you. You are in our hearts always.”
BENJAMIN ALVES – The “Magandang Dilag” star recently shared a birthday letter to his dad 5 years after he passed away.
It was last 2019 when the actor confirmed his relationship with his fiancée, model Chelsea Robato. The two announced their engagement last 2022, with Chelsea saying they will get married in 2024.
The actor posted a series of photos on his social media account along with a touching birthday letter to his dad. Aside from this, he also gave his dad an update about his life.
Benjamin expressed his disbelief in the caption of his social media post, saying he can’t believe that it’s been 5 years since his dad has left them. The actor went on to tell his dad that he’s getting married to his fiancée soon.
“I’m getting married soon, Dad. I wish you could’ve met Chelsea. You would love her,” the actor said to his dad in the caption of his post. “I bet you’d say I did good. And to be good to her. I will Dad.”
He continued his letter with an imagining his wedding, saying that it would’ve been so nice to see his mom and dad at the altar. According to him, he knows his dad will be looking down and celebrating with them.

Although he knows his dad won’t physically be with him on his wedding day, he promised his dad that he will become a “good husband” to his fiancée “because of everything you’ve taught me”.
Benjamin ended his social media post by greeting his dad on his birthday and expressing his love for his dad.
“Please visit us once in a while,” the actor said.
