Andrea Brillantes on breakup with Ricci Rivero: “Nagmahal ako nang totoo, hindi ko yon male-let go agad-agad”
ANDREA BRILLANTES – The popular actress and influencer recently opened up about her feelings after the public announcement of her breakup with Ricci Rivero, her former boyfriend of over a year.
During an interview on Magandang Buhay, Andrea shared that she finds it difficult to forget the time they spent together and still feels hurt in her heart and mind. She acknowledged the need for acceptance and letting go but admitted that it is not easy for her since their relationship meant a lot to her.
Andrea Brillantes emphasized the importance of going through the proper process of moving on and expressed her desire to savor her feelings in order to heal properly. Despite the pain, she finds solace in her family and loved ones and chooses to prioritize her own peace of mind by remaining silent and avoiding conflicts.
To recall, Ricci Rivero confirmed their breakup on June 9, 2023, through a statement on Twitter. He admitted to the mistake of not making their relationship status public and requested respect for their decision to keep it private in order to preserve their friendship. Ricci expressed his hope for a peaceful healing process, free from hate and pain.
Following the breakup, rumors circulated linking Ricci to Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2019 and Councilor Leren Mae Bautista. However, Leren’s camp released a statement denying these allegations, clarifying that they are entirely false and have no basis.
