XANDER FORD – The controversial social media personality expressed his sadness after the personalities he invited to the baptism of his first child did not show up.

Marlou Salcedo Arizala, also known as Xander Ford, is a controversial social media personality whose career began when he became a member of the boy band Hasht5, a boy band parody whose videos went viral in 2015.

He later underwent plastic surgery after leaving Hasht5 to pursue a solo career, changing his name to “Xander Ford.” His transformation was widely publicized on the internet. He was also involved in numerous controversies back then.

It was in 2020 when he was arrested in Pasay after his former girlfriend filed a complaint of violence against women. He was released from jail the next day after his agency, Star Image Artist Management, posted bail of P18,000. After some time, he decided to lie low on social media after continuously receiving backlash from netizens.

It was just last year when his girlfriend Gena Mago gave birth to their first baby. On Wednesday, May 3, their baby Xeres Isaiah was baptized at Nuestra Senora de Candelaria Candle Chapel in Silang Cavite.

However, none of the invited personalities show up at the baptism of his baby. This prompted him to express his sadness via Instagram Stories.

“Ngayun yung binyag ng anak ko, ang lungkot kasi yung mga taong inaasahan ko na pupunta sila yung wala,” he wrote. “Kahit yung presensya lang sana para sa baby ko, OK na ako. Pero alam ko di rin kami importante kasi di naman na kami sikat,” he added.
