Due to the extreme heat, a student suddenly experiences a nosebleed

NOSEBLEED OVER EXTREME HEAT – A student suddenly experienced a nosebleed due to the extreme heat.

In the scorching heat of the afternoon on May 8, 2023, during a class discussion with teacher Almer Villanueva Francisco, a distressing incident occurred. One of his pupils suddenly experienced a nosebleed, undoubtedly a consequence of the extreme heat exposure they were enduring. According to him, their classroom is merely a makeshift structure, offering minimal protection from the blazing sun.

The teacher immediately sprang into action and provided first aid to the student. He’s also thankful to his other pupils for their quick response and assistance during the alarming situation. He added that they were taught what to do in case of a nosebleed such as having the student lean forward, pinching his/her nose, and applying an ice bag to the back of their head to alleviate the pressure and cool down their body temperature.

In light of these challenging circumstances and the unbearable heat that the teacher and his students are currently enduring, he’s humbly requesting that authorities consider the possibility of rescheduling classes to June. The intensity of the heat being experienced is beyond what anyone can bear. It has become a significant hindrance to the learning environment, affecting the health and well-being of both students and educators.

The teacher is hoping that the relevant authorities take this matter into serious consideration and make the necessary adjustments to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone involved. It is crucial that the government provide a conducive learning atmosphere for the students, where their health and overall well-being are prioritized.
