Kara David on her husband: “Alam ko na hindi siya gagawa ng anything na ikakaselos ko.”
KARA DAVID – The veteran broadcast journalist recently spoke about her long-distance relationship with her husband LM Cancio.
Kara and LM got married in a simple wedding ceremony at the St. James the Apostle Parish in her hometown of Betis, Pampanga.
The veteran broadcast journalist is the guest in the anniversary special episode of “Updated With Nelson Canlas” podcast where she opened up about her relationship with her husband.
Kara said in an interview that despite the fact that her husband is always working away as a seaman, she feels secure in her long-distance relationship with him. According to her, her partner is an exception to the saying “sea-manloloko” as she knows that he won’t do anything to make her jealous.

She also shared the reasons why she feels secure in her relationship with her partner.
“Secure ako sa sarili kong maganda ako. Para sa mata ng asawa ko alam ko, ako pinakamaganda,” Kara said. “Para lang sure, pumunta ako sa barko, kinaibigan ko lahat ng seaman doon para pag may ginawang kalokohan yung asawa ko, sasabihin!
Kara went on to give a piece of advice to those who would embark on an LDR or long-distance relationship.
According to the veteran broadcast journalist, people have to be secure in the relationship, to be secure in the love of their partner, and to be secure in their capabilities as a person.
