Security Guard Gets Emotional After Passing LET Teachers Board Examination
A security guard becomes a teacher after he passed the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).
Maan Salvador recently uploaded a heartwarming video that showcased her 46-year-old father, Edwin Salvador’s reaction upon learning that he had passed the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).
The video elicits strong emotions as it captured the heartfelt moment when Edwin discovered the positive outcome of his hard work and dedication.
Maan shared that her father worked as a security guard while simultaneously preparing for the board exam. Every day, upon returning home from his job, he would immediately immerse himself in studying for the exam.
He would diligently work on lesson plans, checking assignments, creating PowerPoint presentations, and engaging in various other academic tasks. Sometimes, he would even fall asleep while studying, exhausted from his demanding routine.
According to Maan, when her father found out about his LET results, he couldn’t contain his tears. They were on a bus at the time, and due to poor signal reception, accessing the exam results was a challenge.
Initially, Edwin worried as no one congratulated him right away. He began to think that there might be another person with the same name who had passed. However, as the realization set in, he couldn’t help but shed tears of joy.
He immediately offered a prayer of gratitude while still overcome with emotion.
Edwin now plans to pursue a teaching career, initially starting in a private school and later transitioning to a public school. His ultimate goal is to fulfill all his dreams for the betterment of his family.
