Ruru Madrid on Yassi Pressman: “Siya ‘yung pinakauna kong naging crush”
RURU MADRID – The Kapuso actor openly revealed that Yassi Pressman was his first crush when he entered showbiz in GMA 7.
Ruru Madrid is an actor known for his appearances in various television shows and films. He rose to prominence after participating in the reality talent competition “Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break” in 2012. Since then, he has been a regular cast member in GMA Network dramas and has gained a significant following for his acting skills and good looks.
Yassi Pressman, on the other hand, is a Filipino-British actress, dancer, and singer. She started her career as a dancer and gained recognition for her talent in various dance competitions. Yassi ventured into acting and has appeared in several television series and movies. She is known for her versatile acting abilities and captivating performances.
During the story conference for their upcoming film “Video City,” a collaboration between VIVA Films and GMA Pictures, Ruru Madrid revealed that Yassi Pressman was his first crush when he entered showbiz in GMA 7.
According to Ruru, he and Yassi worked together about 10 years ago. When he joined the reality talent show in 2012, Yassi became his partner in a production number.
“Actually, hindi ko po siya niligawan pero siya po ‘yung pinakaunang naging crush ko sa GMA,” he admitted during the “Video City” press conference. “Ngayon niya lang nalaman ‘yan, kaya salamat po. At least alam na niya ngayon,” he added, followed by laughter.
Ruru, who is currently in a relationship with Bianca Umali, further explained, “Si Yassi ‘yung naging pinaka-una kong naging kapartner sa ‘Protégé,’ parang mayroon kaming ginawang sayaw doon. Tapos nu’ng mga panahon na ‘yun, lahat ng makita kong artista, nagiging crush ko. Lahat, like si Barbie (Forteza), Bea (Binene), Lexi Fernandez, so lahat talaga.” He continued: “Pero si Yassi ‘yung una kong nakatrabaho kaya siya ‘yung pinakauna kong naging crush.”
