Matteo Guidicelli on Sarah Geronimo: “I’m there for my wife to support, to be beside her, and to live for her”
MATTEO GUIDICELLI – The Kapuso actor-host recently spoke about his blissful marriage with his wife, singer Sarah Geronimo.
It was last week when the actor-host signed with GMA Public Affairs. On Monday, he debuted in Kapuso morning show “Unang Hirit” and also appeared on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”.
Matteo is the latest guest in the recent episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast where he revealed the secret to his blissful marriage with his wife.
The actor-host said in an interview with Nelson Canlas that his priority in life, aside from his work, is being a husband to Sarah. He also said that he’s there for his wife to support her, to be beside her, to live for her, and to build their family in the future.
“Siyempre bilang husband, I think aside from work, ‘yung priority ko talaga sa buhay ko ay pagiging asawa,” he said. “You know, I’m there for my wife to support, to be beside her, and to live for her. And, of course, to build our family in the future.“
He also said that being a married man has changed his priorities and perspective in life and also made him a better person.
In the same interview, Matteo shared that he’s excited to work with Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid in upcoming action series “Black Rider”. He also said that he wants to work with Drew Arellano, Kim Atienza, Dingdong Dantes, and Billy Crawford.
The actor-host was also asked if he’s ready to have a leading lady.
“Na-notice niyo po puro lalaki yung binanggit ko? Puro lalaki lang,” he said laughingly. “Siyempre, public affairs tayo. So, more on, you know, kumbaga representing Filipino people kumbaga.”

When Nelson told Matteo that he’s looking forward to the day that he will welcome Sarah on GMA Network, the actor-host said that he’s also looking forward to that day as well.
