Matteo Guidicelli: “Through the years, with three years of marriage, forever is a synergy between two people.”
MATTEO GUIDICELLI – The Kapuso actor-host recently opened up about spending his forever with his wife, singer Sarah Geronimo.
The “Unang Hirit” host signed a new contract with GMA Public Affairs through a signing event held last May 11, 2023 at SEDA Vertis North in Quezon City. At that time, the actor-host shared that he has been working on signing with GMA since last year.
Matteo appeared on Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he talked about spending his forever with Sarah.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the actor said that spending the rest of his life with his wife is his “ultimate goal”. According to him, forever is “a synergy between two people” and marriage is the “most beautiful thing in life”.
“Through the years, with three years of marriage, forever is a synergy between two people,” Matteo told Boy Abunda. “It’s [forever] a two-way thing. You have to trust each other. You have to be aligned. Kumbaga, I would say, marriage is the most beautiful thing in life.“
It was last May 13, 2023 when his wife had a 20th-anniversary concert at the Araneta Coliseum. The Kapuso star described his wife is “magical” and “fantastic”, adding that he’s proud of her.
In the same interview, the Kapuso actor-host addressed his relationship with Sarah’s parents Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin.
To recall, it was in February 2020 when Sarah and Matteo got married in a surprise ceremony despite the alleged intervention of Mommy Divine. Last October 2022, his wife wrote a heartfelt letter for her family, apologizing to her parents for hurting them over her decisions in life.

Matteo told Boy Abunda that Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin are his mother-in-law and father-in-law, adding that he wants to respect Sarah’s parents in the best way possible.
He also wished one day everything will be okay because he knows how much they love their daughter and he knows how much Sarah loves her parents as well.
“We’re civil I would like to believe Tito Boy and I pray every day for strength, wisdom, and humility na hopefully one day maging okay ang lahat for Sarah’s peace of mind,” Matteo said.
