This came after Anjo shared that he and Robin are now friends after a falling out in 1993.

Anjo Yllana for senator?

ANJO YLLANA – The actor revealed that Senator Robin Padilla had told him to run for senator.

In an interview with Gorgy Rula on DZRH last Sunday, April 30, the brother of actor-politician Jomari Yllana, revealed that he was given a job by Sen. Jinggoy at the senate. His job at the Senate was only enough to provide him with his daily meals.

Anjo Yllana is also grateful for the opportunity that Jinggoy gave him because he was able to reconnect with Senator Robin Padilla, whom he had a falling out with in 1993. Due to their feud, Anjo had to move to Parañaque, and although they were not enemies, they had not spoken since.

“Magulo nun, e. Matindi kasi ang nangyari nun,” Anjo said.

Anjo recounted that when he saw Robin at the Senate, he was surprised by the actor-turned-senator’s warm greeting. He even encouraged Anjo to run for senator. Anjo said that he is only interested in running for a local position, but he was happy to see that Robin still believed in him.

Anjo is now happy to have reconnected with Robin and considers him a dear friend.
