Maxene Magalona on her tattoos: “It reminds you of the pain that you went through and how you were able to survive and overcome it”

MAXENE MAGALONA – The daughter of late OPM rapper Francis Magalona recently revealed the story behind the tattoos in her body.

The actress appeared in the latest episode of “Magandang Buhay” where she shared the story behind those tattoos. She has several tattoos in her body – including her wrists and her nape.

Maxene revealed that the first tattoo that she has is the one in her wrist. The actress said that she put the “la fille à papa” tattoo there so that she will always remember to live her life to the fullest.

According to her, she got her first tattoo during the 1st death anniversary of her late father because she wants to remember his love for her. She also shared that her father is the only one who truly loves her.

I got this during my dad’s first death anniversary kasi I want to remember his love for me,” she said. “Ang naisip ko parang si papa lang talaga ang magmamahal sa akin ng tunay.

She also shared that she has a tiara tattoo on her nape because she’s the “daughter of the King of Rap”, got a “all you need is faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust” tattoo on her right hip because she feels she’s a “fairy” that “sprinkle good and energy”, and has a Hello Kitty ribbon on her right wrist.

Aside from that, Maxene also shared that she got the third-eye chakra, the heart chakra, and the manipura chakra tattoos in Bali during the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that she got the “be love” tattoo before leaving Bali.

According to her, her tattoos are like her battle scars as it reminds her of the pain that she went through and how she was able to survive and overcome it.
