Lovely Abella: “Tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ang aming live selling. Aalis lang po kami sa lugar na ‘to”
LOVELY ABELLA — The celebrity entrepreneur announced that she and her husband Benj Manalo decided to close their live selling mall.
It was last December 2022 when the couple opened their business venture — the first-ever live selling mall in the Philippines.
The soon-to-be mom recently posted a video where she and her husband can be seen hugging each other inside their live studio mall. She said in the caption of her TikTok post that their business at the live selling mall didn’t do well, which led them to the decision to close it down.
Lovely also said that their business failure is the reason why she and her husband become stronger.
“Nakakalungkot man ang business failure na ‘to sa atin, heto ang dahilan kung bakit mas nagiging strong tayo!” she said, “Basta kasama natin si Lord ‘di tayo mapapahamak at lulubog.”
Lovely’s TikTok video went viral and some of her followers couldn’t believe what happened to their business.

In a follow-up TikTok video, she said that the reason why they decided to close BenLy’s Live Studio Mall is that they no longer earn enough to pay their rent in the place where their live selling mall is located.

She also shared that it’s a “wise decision” for them to close it since they paid monthly rent ranging from PHP 100k to PHP 130k.
“So ito pong ating BenLy’s Live Studio Mall, sa mga hindi po inaasahang pangyayari, medyo hindi po tayo sinuwerte rito dahil nagkulang po kami sa marketing kasi especially ako po ay nabuntis last January po,” she said.

The comedienne went on to assure her followers that she and her husband will not stop their business journey and will also continue live selling on their social media platforms.
To recall, it was last January 2023 when the celebrity couple announced that they’re expecting their first child. They recently held a gender reveal party where the result came out that they’re expecting a baby boy.
