Benj Manalo and Lovely Abella are expecting their first child together
BENJ MANALO AND LOVELY ABELLA – The celebrity couple recently announced that they’re expecting their first child together.
Benj and Lovely tied the knot in January 2021.
On Sunday, Benj posted a series of photos showing several pregnancy tests bearing a positive result as he shared the good news on his Instagram account.
In the caption of his social media post, Benj said that he and his wife are having a baby after many years of trying to have one. He also revealed the reason why they’re struggling to have a child.
“Just to give you a background, mababa po ang sperm count ko and that is one of the reasons kaya hirap kami ng asawa ko,” Benj said. “This is the best wedding anniversary gift sa ‘min ni Lord.”
Benj also said that he would just continue praying for the Lord’s perfect timing, and this happened to be it. He went on to say that they will cherish every moment in the new chapter of their lives.

Lovely, for her part, posted a video of her husband’s reaction after telling him that she’s pregnant. She shared in the caption of her post that she and her husband have been trying for three years.
“Napakagandang Blessing sa unang buwan ng 2023!” she said. “After 15 years sa unang anak ko, at after 3 years na tintry namin ng Asawa ko tsaka palang binigay ni Lord, Miracle Baby para sa amin knowing na mababa ang Sperm count ng asawa ko.”
Benj is already a father to Nathan, while Lovely has a daughter named Crisha.
Benj and Lovely celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary last Monday, January 23, 2023.
