Heart Evangelista Gets Asked If She Still Wants To Be A Mom

Heart Evangelista: “If I’ll be a mom, …”

HEART EVANGELISTA – The actress-socialite was asked in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda if she still wanted to be a mom.

The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she spoke about motherhood and also talked about the experience of losing her twins.

It was last May 2018 when Heart announced that she was expecting a baby. However, she announced last June 2018 that she had suffered a miscarriage just as they hit the three-month mark.

Heart said in an interview with Boy Abunda that having a child wasn’t a priority for her in the beginning. She shared that she has always been trained to be a hardworking career woman of sorts.

The actress-socialite also said that she’s afraid of getting pregnant even though she’s married to her husband Chiz Escudero, but she didn’t realize how much she “wanted it so badly” when she got pregnant.

She even admitted that getting pregnant really changed her, saying that it’s not necessarily that one has to give birth or to physically be a mother “but the idea of what my angels made me feel — it was good enough for me.

When asked if she still wanted to be a mother, she admittedly said that she didn’t know.

If I’ll be a mom, why not?” Heart said. “I remember at that time, pinagdasal ko na ‘find your way back to me, in any form’ but for me, hindi ko na pinipilit yung mga bagay-bagay.

Heart went on to tell Boy Abunda that something that anybody who has ever experienced an unanswered prayer could lean on, adding that she doesn’t allow herself to be heartbroken because there are things that are not given to her.

In the same interview, the actress-socialite said that it was right around her miscarriage that she received a call from “Crazy Rich Asians” author Kevin Kwan for a feature on Harper’s Bazaar.
