JM De Guzman – The actor revealed that he’s “addicted” to a female celebrity during the mediacon for his latest film “Adik Sa ‘Yo” with co-star Cindy Miranda.
De Guzman admitted to being in love with someone in the industry and has been pursuing her for a year without giving up. When asked about the identity of his love interest, De Guzman said it’s a secret. When asked if the person is a vlogger, De Guzman laughed and blushed.
De Guzman also revealed that he has learned how to love in a different way now. He stated that he has a changed mindset towards love compared to before, as he has learned to strike a balance between his heart and mind.

Meanwhile, De Guzman admitted in an interview with Bandera that he was hesitant to accept the film “Adik Sa ‘Yo” at first because of his similar experiences in his real life as projected in the movie. De Guzman has struggled with addiction in the past, but he shared that he is now in a better place and has moved forward from that dark chapter in his life.
The film “Adik Sa ‘Yo” explores the concept of addiction, not just to substances but also to people. It tells the story of Paulo (played by De Guzman), a former drug addict who goes in and out of rehab, and Joy (played by Miranda), who is addicted to Paulo. Despite being best friends for a long time, Joy has hidden feelings for Paulo and is willing to do anything for him.
