JEWEL MISCHE – The StarStruck season 4 Ultimate Sweetheart recently shared how her love story with her husband Alister Kurzer started.
Jewel appeared in the latest episode of “Just In” on YouTube where she spoke about her love story with Alister, her married life, and her life as a mother.
She, who is currently lives in Michigan, shared that she and Alister met each other through a Christian social networking site. According to her, she joined there because she’s curious at that time.
Jewel admitted that she’s the one who messaged him after reading his testimony about Christian life in the said website.
“We started talking kasi I bumped into his testimony about Christian life and then na-move ako, and then I messaged him,” she said. “I said I love how you love God, ‘yung ganoon. Doon kami nag-start mag-usap.”
She shared that she and Alister met each other after three months.

But before their meetup, Jewel said that they didn’t hear each other’s voice and didn’t make a video call. Aside from that, she revealed that she didn’t tell him about her showbiz career.
When she felt that she and her partner were becoming interested in each other, and that her partner was going to visit her in the Philippines, Jewel decided to tell him about her life as an actress.
Even though the outcome of her love story with Alister was good, the StarStruck season 4 Ultimate Sweetheart admitted that she was hesitant to say in the interview that she and her partner met online.
“Medyo hesitant lang ako sabihin ‘yung online kasi ayoko magkaroon ng impression ‘yung mga tao. Ayoko i-promote yung online dating. It doesn’t work all the time,” she explained.
