Ivy Vicencio on Gardo Versoza: “After 2 months mag undergo po sya ulit ng isa pang Angioplasty.”
GARDO VERSOZA – The actor has been discharged from the hospital and will undergo another angioplasty procedure.
To recall, it was last March 30 when talent manager Ivy Vicencio, the wife of Gardo Versoza, confirmed in an interview with ABS-CBN News that he had a heart attack, underwent an angioplasty procedure, and in recovery at that time.
Ivy recently posted a series of photos of him on her social media account and also gave an update about him.
In the caption of her social media post, Ivy Vicencio said that doctors allowed her husband to go home after surviving a heart attack and undergoing an angioplasty procedure.

She also said that he will undergo another angioplasty procedure “after 2 months”.
“Medyo ok na po sya at pinayagan na muna ng mga doctors nya na maka uwi,” Ivy said in the caption of her post. “After 2 months mag undergo po sya ulit ng isa pang Angioplasty. Hindi naisabay nung una dahil may Heart Attack na nangyayari.”
According to a report on ABS-CBN News, Ivy said that her husband was healthy and active but his workout and biking became extreme. She also said that they didn’t know her husband was having a heart attack at first because of the “unusual” signs.
“Unusual ‘yung signs kaya hindi namin alam na heart attack. Kasi ang masakit sa kanya ‘yung likod, back pain at batok at ulo. So hindi talaga namin iniisip na inaatake na siya. After niyang sumakit ulo, nagsuka siya ng dalawang beses. After niya magsuka nagla-lock na ‘yung jaw niya, so ‘yun 8 p.m. (dinala ko na siya sa ospital),” Ivy said. “After nun nakita sa ECG confirmed na heart attack nga siya.”
Gardo’s wife thanked his supporters for praying for him and also expressed her gratitude to the “Unbreak My Heart” family for their support and understanding as well.
In an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, the King of Talk shared what happened before Gardo Versoza had a heart attack. He shared that Gardo started feeling unwell on Tuesday evening and the cause of his heart attack might be because of his “excessive physical activity”.
