The actor is currently making rounds online following his revelation that was once a victim of a power-tripping boss of the Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime.
In an interview with PEP, he revealed that he suffered from depression after being bullied by the unnamed boss, which even led him to hurt himself. Apparently, he did not specify whether the boss is still with the show or not.
According to Wilbert, the boss did not like him because he was the least attractive among the 16 members of the all-male group, Hashtags. He learned that the boss did not think he deserved to be part of Hashtags. It even came to the point where he was replaced as a guest in “Minute To Win It,” one of ABS-CBN’s game shows, hosted by Luis Manzano.

BIOGRAPHY
Wilbert is a Filipino actor with Indonesian roots and Chinese blood. He was only 19-years-old (third-year Engineering student at the time) when he left Davao to pursue his dreams in Manila. Ross is the second and only boy in a brood of four children.
CAREER
It was in February 2016 when he joined Tawag ng Tanghalan on It’s Showtime. However, he failed to advance onto the next level of the singing competition after being eliminated on daily round with his rendition of “Hello” by Lionel Richie.
In September of 2016, he auditioned for Pinoy Boyband Superstar but failed to make it to the Top 20. The following year, he was introduced as a new member of Hashtags on It’s Showtime. Presently, he’s one of the in-demand actors of Vivamax.
