Wilbert Ross Reveals He’s a Victim of a Power-tripping Boss of It’s Showtime

Wilbert Ross: “Sa It’s Showtime po, may tao na ayaw sa akin talaga. Isa sa mga boss.”

WILBERT ROSS – The former member of Hashtags admitted that he was a victim of a “power tripper” boss on the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

In an interview with PEP, he revealed that he suffered from depression after being bullied by the unnamed boss, which even led him to hurt himself. Apparently, he did not specify whether the boss is still with the show or not.

According to Wilbert, the boss did not like him because he was the least attractive among the 16 members of the all-male group, Hashtags, which includes McCoy De Leon, Ronnie Alonte, Zeus Collins, Nikko Natividad, Bugoy Carino. The group is also composed of Jon Lucas and Luke Conde who are now talents of GMA network.

Wilbert even cut his wrist due to severe depression, but it did not lead to taking his life away. He just wanted to feel the pain. At present, the scars are already covered by his tattoos.

He learned that the boss did not think he deserved to be part of Hashtags. It even came to the point where he was replaced as a guest in “Minute To Win It,” one of ABS-CBN’s game shows, hosted by Luis Manzano.

Currently, Wilbert is active in movies that can be seen on Vivamax.

Meanwhile, Wilbert Ross is a former member of the all-male dance group Hashtags, which was formed on the noontime show “It’s Showtime”. Ross left Hashtags in 2019 and has since pursued acting, appearing in films available on the streaming platform Vivamax.
