Ryza Cenon: “I get to spend time with my son and I have time for my career. So nagiging balanced na po siya ngayon”
RYZA CENON – The actress recently spoke about work-life balance and also opened up about her showbiz comeback.
The “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” star is one of the artists present in the virtual media conference for Viva Films’ latest movie “Kunwari… Mahal Kita”, which is now showing in Philippine cinemas nationwide.
In the rom-com drama, Ryza played the role of Hydes who works in the resort where Greg (played by Joseph Marco) is staying at.
In an interview with the media at a virtual media conference, the actress said that she’s glad over how her career in show business is taking off now that she’s back working after years in acting hiatus.
Also, she shared that she’s able to balance her career in showbiz and her responsibility as a mother to her son Night.
“Nagiging balanced po yung nangyari. I get to spend time with my son and I have time for my career. So nagiging balanced na po siya ngayon,” she told the media. “He (her son Night) is a big boy already. He is two years old now and malikot na po siya ngayon. Sumasakit na po yung ulo ko and back (laughs).”

She was also asked if she’s willing to do a mature role even if she’s a mother already. According to the actress, she’s willing to do a mature role as long as the scene requires to do it.
In a report on The Philippine Star, she revealed that doors have opened up for her since her stint in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”. The actress received offers to star in the TV5 sitcom “Kurdapya” and to do a reality show.
Ryza shared that she’s grateful to be given opportunities even though she’s inactive in the showbiz industry for some time.
