Ruru Madrid Speaks on Past Relationship w/ Gabbi Garcia
RURU MADRID – The Kapuso actor broke his silence on his then real score with his former loveteam partner, Gabbi Garcia.
Loveteams in the Philippine showbiz industry are present in different networks. There are even a lot of fans and supporters who do not only support individual artists but their team up with another artist. However, truth be told that these loveteams usually separate along the journey in their respective careers.
One of the former loveteams in the GMA-7 network is the “GabRu” – the on-screen tandem of Kapuso stars Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid. Then, the two (2) celebrities were spotted in sweet moments together and there were rumors and speculations that they were more than just on-screen partners.
Recently, actor Ruru Madrid appeared as a guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. During the interview, Boy asked the Kapuso actor about the real score between him and Gabbi Garcia then.
During the Fast Talk interview, Ruru Madrid confirmed that Gabbi Garcia became his girlfriend when they were loveteam partners then. However, their age might be a factor then as they were both teenagers. It was in 2018 when the Kapuso actress issued an official statement on the breakup of their loveteam. After it, the actress made it clear that they are good “acquiantances” to each other.
When asked if Bianca Umali, his current girlfriend, was the reason behind his split with Gabbi, Ruru answered “no”. The Kapuso actor was also asked if he was the reason behind the breakup of Bianca and fellow Kapuso actor Miguel Tanfelix, he also answered “no”.
According to Ruru, Gabbi was his only girlfriend before Bianca. Both of them are visibly in happy relationships with the Kapuso actress being in a relationship with Kapamilya-turned-Kapuso actor Khalil Ramos.
