Bianca Umali Speaks on Converting to Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)
BIANCA UMALI – The Kapuso actress denied that she converted to Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) due to her boyfriend, Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid.
Some celebrities in the showbiz industry in the Philippines found a romantic love in their fellow celebrities. Among these are Kapuso stars Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid who are in a relationship for more than four (4) years now.
It was in August 2022 when Ruru confirmed that he and Bianca were dating for four (4) years already then. The confirmation brought happiness to the fans and supporters of the two (2) Kapuso stars.
Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali have worked together in some projects under their home network including The Write One. Recently, reports confirming that the celebrity couple are now under the same religion also crossed the surface.
Based on an article on Pep, Bianca Umali is now a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo or more commonly called INC. She denied that her boyfriend, Ruru Madrid, who is an INC member, is the reason why she converted to the religion.
According to Bianca, she does not think that converting to the INC will fall under the category of the things she does for love. She stressed that it is a personal choice and not a decision she made because she is in love with another person.
Based on the article, Bianca Umali stressed that it was during her 20th birthday when she thought that she wants something that is not materialistic and it was her faith. The actress stressed that God has always been guiding her and always there for her even when she sins.
“When I discovered my faith, that is where Ruru comes in, because hindi dahil sa kanya kaya ako nag-convert pero naging instrumento siya para maipakilala sa akin yung religion at maipakita sa akin yung daan kung saan tinawag ako para mapalapit ako sa Diyos,” the Kapuso actress said.
