Rendon Labador Slams Coco Martin Anew Due to “Pang-aabala” in Quiapo

Rendon Labador to Coco Martin: “Ang tigas ng mukha mo”

RENDON LABADOR – The motivational speaker took to social media wherein he slammed anew Coco Martin due to “pang-aabala” in Quiapo over taping of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo is an action drama television series based on the 1986 action-comedy film of the same title starring Fernando Poe Jr. and Maricel Soriano. The series stars with Coco Martin as Jesus Nazareno “Tanggol” V. Dimaguiba and young Ramon Montenegro, Lovi Poe as Monica “Mokang” Dimaculangan, Christopher de Leon as Ramon Montenegro, Cherry Pie Picache as Marites Valencia-Dimaguiba and Charo Santos as Trinidad “Tindeng” Valencia.

The series is focused on the life of a young man named Tanggol, who struggles to survive in Quiapo and eventually becomes one of the most infamous outlaws in the area. His achievement brings him closer to the truth about his identity as he attempts to win his parents’ affection.

But according to Rendon Labador, the taping of the series in Quiapo caused a tremendous disruption in the small businesses operating in the area. This prompted him to voice out his frustration at the production team of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo particularly Coco Martin.

In a video, he called the actor-director “tanga” and “matigas ang mukha” for turning Quiapo into their “studio”. According to him, the income of the vendors in the area have decreased. He then told him “feeling action star”. For him, an action star is someone who isn’t “nakakaabala.”

Rendon Labador is wondering how long will the taping of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo will take place. He suggested if Coco doesn’t have a budget to have his own studio wherein they can shoot the series, he should have saved some money first then build their own studio.

In the last part of his video, he said Coco Martin should not be given a permit to shoot the series in Quiapo, which is a public structure.
