Pia Magalona: “Bless the man if his heart and his land are one”
PIA MAGALONA – The wife of late OPM rapper Francis Magalona marks the 14th death anniversary of her husband.
It was last March 6, 2009 when Francis Magalona passed away after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia last August 2008.
On Monday, Pia posted a series of photos on her social media account to mark the death anniversary of her late husband. In the first three photos, she and her family visited the grave of the late OPM rapper.
Pia also shared a series of throwback photos of her late husband on her social media post.
“Fourteen,” Pia Magalona wrote in the caption of her post, referring to the number of years since Francis Magalona passed away. “Bless the man if his heart and his land are one. Three Stars & a Sun.”

In the comments section, netizens said they noticed that Maxene Magalona is not present in the photos Pia posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, the “Bagsakan” polo of the late OPM rapper is already up for bidding. According to Parokya ni Edgar, the starting bid for the said polo was at PHP 100,000 and the auction will end at 10:00 pm on March 6, 2023.
The highest bid for the said item is at PHP 620,000 as of 1:00 pm of March 6, 2023.
Prior to the auction, “Parokya ni Edgar” frontman Chito Miranda shared that he messaged Pia’s daughter Saab Magalona and asked about the polo. At that time, Saab informed him that her mother found the polo and said that she wants to sell it for Gab Chee Kee.
