Paul Salas Speaks On His Relationship With One Of His Ex-Girlfriends

Paul Salas: “Actually aaminin ko po ngayon lang nawala ‘yung pagiging bitter ko sa kanya”

PAUL SALAS – The “The Write One” star recently opened up about his relationship with one of his former girlfriends.

The actor appeared on Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” wherein he talked about his relationship with one of his ex-girlfriends. His ex-girlfriend remained unnamed during the interview with the King of Talk, but GMA News Online reported that he previously dated actress Barbie Imperial.

PEP reported last 2019 that the actor was accused of physically hurting the actress based on her cryptic posts on social media.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, he shared that he just lost his bitterness toward her.

Actually aaminin ko po ngayon lang nawala ‘yung pagiging bitter ko sa kanya,” the actor said. “Kasi nung time po na ‘yun, hindi ko matanggap Tito Boy actually na ilabas ‘yung mga ganung news about me na matagal ko nang sinasabi hindi naman talaga totoo.

According to Paul, part of why their relationship didn’t work is due to his lingering trauma over the split of his parents. The actor went on to share that he was only 14 years old when his parents decided to separate.

Paul also shared that it was only during the lockdown when he had time to reflect that he realized he had past traumas, hurts, and trust issues. He also said that it was only when he met actress Mikee Quintos that he realized just how traumatized he was at that time.

Mikee, for her part, assured the actor that she will always be there beside him to support him.

Sana kapag may mga times na nati-trigger ‘yung mga traumas natin both, I want to assure you na hindi mo kailangan mag-isip or kabahan kasi ikaw naman ‘yung lagi kong pipiliin kahit mahirap,” Mikee said to Paul.
