Mikee Quintos on Paul Salas’s dream: “Gusto niyang tumakbo someday.”
MIKEE QUINTOS – The Kapuso actress and content creator recently shared that she supports the dream of actor Paul Salas.
Mikee revealed that the dream of her partner is to enter politics.
The actress shared in an interview on the “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast that her family members are doctors and lawyers, adding that she’s the only one from the showbiz industry.
Her parents were former councilors in Manila and campaigning has become a “ritual” of their family. She also said that there were times when she refused to participate in campaigns because she was the only artist in the family who could dance and sing.
“My mom actually told me that and one of my sisters na, ‘Mikee ikaw ‘yung kumakanta eh, ikaw ‘yung may talent eh.’ Sabi ko oo nga, minsan ‘yung talent na ‘yon it is a blessing and because of the pressure nakakalimutan kong blessing,” she shared.
Because of this, the actress was asked if she also has plans to enter politics.
According to the actress, it doesn’t seem like it was for her and she didn’t feel it anymore. She also said that she was there to help and support her family.

However, the actress recounted that it was her partner who was interested in entering politics.
“Siya, he’s into it. Gusto niyang tumakbo someday. Pangarap niya ‘yan someday,” she said. “Medyo dini-discourage ko siya minsan dahil alam ko ‘yung stress nu’n. Pero bakit ko naman siya pipigilan? If his heart really wants to help people, andito din naman ako to support that.“
