Mikee Quintos: “Ayaw kong mag-date ng artista. Parang …”
MIKEE QUINTOS – The Kapuso actress and content creator recently revealed the reason why she didn’t want to go on a date with an artist before.
Mikee Quintos is the celebrity guest in the 40th episode of the “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast.
In an interview, Mikee revealed that it was the “right time” for her to enter into a relationship with Paul Salas even after going through a back-and-forth courtship. However, the actress admitted that she didn’t want to date the actor.
According to her, she was single for two years and became happy with being single at that time. She added that she felt like she will lose everything she worked for in those years if she decided to have a love life.
“Ayaw kong mag-date ng artista. Parang ‘yung mga napi-feel kong ganu’ng signs, ang tagal ko naging in denial, hindi ko siya kina-catch agad, shina-shrug off ko siya, parang ‘Ayaw ko, ayaw ko, ayaw ko,‘” she admitted.
Because of this, there came a point where Paul didn’t even continue with his courtship. But as the actor retreated, the actress suddenly realized that “Ay gusto ko na pala”.

The actress shared that she and Paul first felt that the “right time” had come for them to have a love life, adding that they first fixed the things they had to fix in their lives. She also said that the preparations she and Paul made in life served as a signal to enter in a relationship.
“Sabi ko sa kaniya ‘If we start this, kung may mga unfinished business pa, go work on it na para malinis tayo, maging maganda ang flow natin,” Mikee said. “‘Yung hesitations, nilinis muna namin kung bakit kami naghe-hesitate. Ako, kailangan ko rin ‘yon sa sarili ko para maging sure.“
Aside from this, she also spoke about something that made her interested in getting to know Paul Salas more. She shared that the actor’s mysterious characteristics made her interested in getting to know him more.
