Morissette vs Charice singing “I Have Nothing”
RAQUEL PEMPENGCO – The mother of Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice, took to social media wherein she shared a video comparing her daughter and Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon singing “I Have Nothing.”
Raquel had been making rounds online due to her social media posts wherein she lauded her daughter Charice, who’s now known as Jake, even calling her child as “legendary.”
It started after iconic musician David Foster had a duet with the Filipina belter Morissette. Among the songs they performed together is the phenomenal song, “I Have Nothing” which was written by Foster and Linda Thompson and was popularized by Whitney Houston.
The mother of Charice Pempengco was not impressed in the duet of Morissette and David Foster because according to her, there were no goosebumps or standing ovation after their performance.
Earlier, she went to Facebook wherein she shared a video comparing the rendition of Morissette and Charice. In the video, the two were giving their all in singing the notably high range song.
