Netizens call out Michael Pangilinan for his “distasteful behavior” during a school concert

MICHAEL PANGILINAN – The singer was called out by some netizens due to his allegedly “distasteful behavior” during a school concert.

Michael started in show business when he appeared on X Factor Philippines in 2011. After the talent search, he had many appearances on the late night show Walang Tulugan of GMA-7.

It was in 2014 when he got his first break in showbiz when he interpreted a Himig Handog PPop Love Songs entry by Joven Tan entitled “Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako” that immediately trended because it somewhat tackles the LGBT community with its theme.

He also sang some of the theme songs of ABS-CBN’s teleseries and Star Cinema movies. He was part of the singing group Harana together with Marlo Mortel, Bryan Santos and Joseph Marco. It was in 2018 when he became part of the all-male vocal trio BuDaKhel along with Bugoy Drilon and Daryl Ong.

Now, he’s on a solo career and has been busy doing shows within the country. It was just recently when he appeared at a concert at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas.

However, some netizens were calling him out for his allegedly “distasteful behavior” at the said concert. Among the netizens who criticized Michael Pangilinan is a Twittter user named elaine.

In a series of post, she couldn’t help but slam the singer. In of her posts, she noted: “So before siya kumanta, nagpaakyat muna siya ng audience. He asked if she’s single and all “para makagawa tayo ng baby.”
