Daryl Ong has broken his silence with regards to his guest appearance on GMA-7 noontime show, “Eat Bulaga” along with Bugoy Drilon and Michael Pangilinan, also known as “BuDaKhel.”
On March 11, before the lockdown took place in Manila, Daryl Ong, along with the two other members of BuDaKhel made a “shocking” appearance on Eat Bulaga.
But according to Daryl Ong who earlier confessed that he is no longer part of ABS-CBN, BuDaKhel was supposed to promote their March 20 concert but apparently, it was canceled due to the March 15 lockdown as the country was faced with COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Daryl Ong took to social media platforms wherein he thanked his fans and supporters as he bids goodbye to the Kapamilya Network.
But netizens were mixed reactions on the confession of Daryl Ong who stated: “Hindi po ako ang umalis sa ABS, tinggal po ako.”
According to him, it all started when BuDaKhel went to Iloilo for a concert last year.
They were at the airport when they came across a conversation about the franchise issue of ABS-CBN.
However, their chitchat was recorded and apparently it reached the management of ABS-CBN.
Then, he and Bugoy Drilon were told that they are banned from performing on any Kapamilya shows.
This happened even before the hiatus of ABS-CBN following its shutdown due to franchise renewal issues.
