R&B singer Daryl Ong is currently making rounds online following his confession that he is no longer part of ABS-CBN.
Earlier, he took to Facebook and YouTube wherein he thanked his fans and supporters as he bids goodbye to the Kapamilya Network.
Daryl Neilsonn Ong or simply Daryl Ong rose to stardom after he joined Season 2 of “The Vice of the Philippines.”
During his audition, the 33-year-old singer from Palawan made a soulful rendition of Gary Valenciano’s hit single, “Paano.”
But before he ventured into singing, he was a cartoonist in ABS-CBN. He was one of the animators of “Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa” series.
He was also a strong contender in the local singing competitions such as Pinoy Pop Superstar (2005) and Pinoy Idol (2008)
He made a name for himself after performing some of the popular soundtracks of ABS-CBN primetime series such as on “On the Wings of Love” and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
He’s also a part of the all-male vocal trio, “BuDaKhel” alongside Bugoy Drilon and Michael Pangilinan.
Among the hit singles and covers of Daryl Ong are the following; Stay, Ikaw Na Nga, Batang Bata Ka Pa, Hopeless Romantic, Mahal Pa Rin Kita, Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita, Nais Kong Malaman Mo and to name a few.
In terms of his personal life, he is currently in a relationship with Dea Formilleza, a former contestant of Idol Philippines.
But prior to dating Formilleza, he already has two children; 1 from his ex-wife and 1 from his ex-girlfriend.
