Mother of Maegan Aguilar urges daughter to undergo rehab
JOSEPHINE QUEIPO – The mother of Maegan Aguilar urged her daughter to undergo rehab.
Maegan, the daughte of OPM legend Freddie Aguilar- who’s behind the hit song “Anak” has been making a buzz online. It all started when she asked assistance in the public service program of Senator Raffy Tulfo.
However, after she tested positive for drug use, the senator said she will no longer receive livelihood assistance from his program. Instead, she will undergo a rehabilitation program. At first, she was hesitant, but after talking to an expert, she agreed to go through rehab.
Apparently, it’s not yet sure if she will truly undergo a rehab. Recently, she went to social media wherein she claimed that her biological mother and brother were among those who have involvement in illegal drugs.
Maegan’s mom named Josephine Queipo commented, urging her to undergo rehab. In a now-deleted post, she noted: “Do the rehab, Megs, and doors will open up again.”
The daughter of Freddie Aguilar responded: “Oh hello stranger! Of course I’ll do the rehab, I have a far better chance of getting better w/ the support system there rather than having you and tatay back in my life again.”
Meanwhile, some netizens claimed that the song Anak popularized by OPM legend Freddie Aguilar suits what’s happening to Maegan at the moment.
Among the few lines of the song says: “Nagdaan pa ang mga araw, At ang landas mo’y naligaw, Ikaw ay nalulong sa masamang bisyo.”
