Finally, Liza Soberano has shut down rumors that she had an abortion
LIZA SOBERANO – The actress has finally shut down the rumors that she had an abortion.
It was just recently when the actress appeared in the vlog of Kapuso star Bea Alonzo wherein she underwent Lie Detector Challenge. At one point, she was asked if she had an abortion. According to her, she was accused for undergoing as such after having operation on her finger in states.
It can be recalled that Liza was supposed to headline the Mars Ravelo’s Darna. However, she suffered an injury on her finger that needed a surgery.
Then, rumor started spreading that she had an abortion as Liza wasn’t able to post for long on social media. “Pa’no ako magpo-post I was wearing a cast, and I was always sick ’cause I was taking antibiotics constantly,” she said.
Aside from that, she became a little chubbier before going to the US to have the surgery. Liza had been exercising for two years in preparation for her portrayal of Darna but had to sop because of the injury. “It’s just sad that I couldn’t defend myself like that so I had to post the picture na nagpa-opera ako and for some reason people still didn’t believe it,” she said.
The actress said she would not have hidden her pregnancy if she got pregnant at the time. When asked for opinion about abortion, Liza said she, “don’t hold it against anyone else that does that.”
Meanwhile, Liza Soberano is making a buzz online following her 14-minute vlog wherein she gave updates about her as well as talked about her past struggle as an artist. However, her rebranding did not sit well with her colleagues who accused her of being “ungrateful.”
