An old video of Liza Soberano training for the iconic superheroine, Darna is currently making rounds online garnering mixed reactions from netizens.
Recently, Twitter handler @kowalerts took to the micro-blogging site wherein it posted an old video of Liza doing some extreme workouts and stunts.

As of posting, it has already earned more than 300,000 views with 3,000 retweets and more than 24,000 likes.

Meanwhile, Jane De Leon was set to star in a big-screen version of Darna slated to be released in cinemas nationwide. However, due to the pandemic and the ABS-CBN franchise shutdown, it was postponed.
Although It was canceled, the rights of Darna remains under ABS-CBN. Now, instead of the big screen, De Leon’s Darna is set to air in iWant TFC in 2021.
The role Darna was initially offered to Liza Soberano but she withdrew it due to a finger injury.
