Kris Bernal on Aljur Abrenica: “Nagparamdam ng konti pero hindi nag-work as real couple.“
KRIS BERNAL – The actress recently clarified that she and actor Aljur Abrenica were only an on-screen couple.
Kris Bernal appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” wherein she spoke about the current state of her relationship with her former love team partner Aljur Abrenica.
The King of Talk asked her if she and the actor became a couple before getting married to non-showbiz husband Perry Choi. In response, she said, “Hindi talaga. Love team lang talaga kami.”
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Kris shared that Aljur had feelings for her before but it didn’t lead to a relationship. She added that there were times when they didn’t get along but they didn’t show it on camera.

The actress also admitted that they haven’t talked yet because he doesn’t reply to her messages.
“Hindi niya ako nire-reply-an eh. Ilang beses ko na siya niyaya sa vlog ko, hindi niya ako nire-reply-an,” she said. “Pero ayun nga, nanawagan ako kay Aljur, baka pwede tayo mag-collab.”
It was last 2021 when the actress responded to a question from a netizen about possibly working with the actor.
At that time, Kris posted a photo with Aljur on her Instagram Stories and said that she’s willing to do so. The actress went on to share that it’s been a long time since she and the actor had a project together.
“Now that we are grown ups, I hope to have a reunion on a movie or even just a digital episode or what!” she said in her post last 2021.
