Actress Kris Bernal recently took to social media as she responded to a question about possibly working with Aljur Abrenica again.
Kris started to answer questions from netizens on her Instagram Stories. Of these, a netizen asked about possibly working with Aljur.
“Are you willing to work with Aljur again?” netizen asked.
Kris then responded that she’s willing to do so. According to her, it’s been a long time since they had a project together and now that they’re grown-ups, she hoped to have a reunion on a movie or even a digital episode.
She then tagged Aljur in her post on Instagram Stories, which the latter reposted it on his Instagram Stories. With this, Aljur might have shared the same sentiments with Kris Bernal.
The “AlKris” love team, which spanned from mid-2000s to the 2010s, was GMA Network’s answer to ABS-CBN’s “KimErald” love team that time.
In a vlog last year, Aljur admitted that he fell in love with Kris at that time, but he revealed that it was Kris who fell in love with him when his feeling for the actress was gone.
“Para ano, alam ninyo. Hindi lang kami nagka-abot. Mas nauna ko siyang nagustuhan. Then, dumating yung time na siya na yung nagkagusto sa akin. So nag-move forward kami. Tapos nagkaroon kami ng ibang klaseng friendship, grabe! So, yung onscreen, lahat, that’s more than blessing in disguise na maging magkaibigan talaga kami. Kesa sa nagkaroon ng serious relationship, kasi it could have been, di ba, baka masira sa set, di ba, pag nag-away kayo,” Aljur explained.
