Cristy Fermin speaks about Arci Muñoz
ARCI MUÑOZ – The actress is barely recognizable nowadays according to entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin.
Arci, whose real name is Ramona Cecilia Datuin Muñoz is an actress, model, singer and dancer. She started out in the entertainment industry after joining the reality talent show, StarStruck in 2005.
After StarStruck, she appeared in several television shows on GMA and TV5. In 2008, she represented the Philippines in the third annual Asia Super Model Contest.
Before she became popular as leading lady, she once portrayed kontrabida roles in Princess Charming, Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, and Maging Akin Ka Lamang. Since then, she became a leading actress in TV5 and ABS-CBN.
In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin said Arci is barely recognizable nowadays. “Ano na ba nangyayari kay Arci Muñoz? Hindi na siya makilala”.
According to Fermin, Arci looks like late pop icon Michael Jackson before but now, she looks like a Kpop star. This might due to the cosmetic enhancements she went through.
“Alam mo, dati rati, ikinukumpara siya sa namayapang pop icon na si Michael Jackson. Tapos hindi pa rin siya tumigil duon. Lahat yata ng proseso tungkol sa pagpaparetok ay inu-undergo-han niya. Tapos ngayon, para naman daw siyang K-Pop star kasi pagkaputi-puti niya,” she said.
Cristy recalled how beautiful the actress was when she was still with GMA-7. “Ang ganda naman niya, nagtataka naman ako. Kung nakita mo lang si Arci nung bagito pa lang siya sa GMA-7, maganda siya, bakit kinailangan pa niyang ipabago-bago ang kanyang face value eh ang ganda ganda naman niya,” she said. “Hindi mo na talaga siya makikilala,” she added.
