Bettinna Carlos on her daughter Gummy: “For the 10 years that I raised Gummy as a single mom, I’d worry if she’s truly happy”
BETTINNA CARLOS – The celebrity mom recently looked back on her parenting journey and also greeted her daughter Gummy on her 12th birthday.
Gummy, whose real name is Amanda Lucia, celebrated her 12th birthday last Tuesday, March 7.
To mark Gummy’s special day, the celebrity mom posted a series of photos with her daughter on her social media account along with a heartfelt birthday message for her.
In a birthday message for Gummy, Bettinna thanked her daughter “for training me for Amina”.
“To our ATE girl, our source of light and giver of joy, happiest birthday!!!” Bettinna wrote. “Daddy and I are so looking forward to raising Amina with your help too. We love you so much!”
Bettinna’s husband Mikki Eduardo also posted a series of photos of Gummy on his Instagram account and simply greeted her in the caption of his social media post.
Meanwhile, Bettinna posted a video that her daughter made “a few months back”. In the said video, Gummy shared that she had a “very happy” childhood.

The celebrity mom went on to look back at her parenting journey. She shared that she would worry if her daughter Gummy is truly happy for the 10 years that she raised her as a single mother.
“To see this video she made herself a few months back, iyak talaga meeee,” she wrote. “To know that my child still considers she had a very happy childhood despite all (my shortcomings and hurts my mistakes caused her)… brought me relief (?).”
She also said that she only have the Lord to thank for His Grace upon her, their relationship, and their family.
Bettinna and Mikki tied the knot last December 2020 and welcomed baby Amina Elizabeth last December 2022. Gummy is the eldest daughter of Bettinna Carlos.
