Convo of a woman and her relative demanding to borrow money since her boyfriend is a foreigner
DEMANDING RELATIVE – A woman took to social networking site, Facebook wherein she shared her conversation with a “relative” demanding to borrow P10K since she has a foreigner boyfriend.
Her relative began their conversation by asking how she was. Then Armada assured her that she was fine. Her relative continued, stating that she now has two (2) children. Armada responded that she is still in school and will get there soon.
Then, her relative told her that it’s a good thing her soon to be husband is a foreigner (American) because according to her, they have a lot of money. Karen went on exclaiming that her boyfriend is not that rich.
All of a sudden, the said relative asked if she can “borrow” money, at least ten thousand pesos (P10K) for business purposes (sari-sari store). Armada apologized to her relative, telling her that she has no money. She also stressed that she doesn’t have that kind of money.
The relative insist that it’s unbelievable she doesn’t have money. She believes Armada has money but don’t want to give any. She even told her that she will pay her in time.
Armada stressed that she’s telling the truth, citing that she’s still a student and don’t have a work yet. In the later part of their conversation, her relative threatened her that she will face “karma” because of being “greedy.”
Her post has gone viral, generating mixed reactions from the netizens. Some netizens she should have exposed her “relative.”
