POKWANG – The actress-comedienne recently urged the public not to put pressure on moms who are too busy raising their kids to spend their time on themselves.
The comedienne has continued to show her strength and perseverance in moving on and raising her children on her own as a single parent.
Pokwang shared a video on her Instagram account where she can be seen having an exercise at home. In the caption, she shared how she maintains her figure on and off the screen.
As she focuses on being a hands-on mom to her children and maintaining her business, she urged the public not to blame other moms who have seemingly let their bodies go due to the pressures of raising children.
“The best revenge is to be fit and healthy, not to impress someone or anybody, dapat fit para sa mga anak lalo na kung single mom ka,” she said. “Kaya wag natin kutyain ang katawan ng isang babae lalo na kung nanay dahil para mo narin sinisi sarili mong ina na nagpabaya dahil sa pagmamahal sayo.”
To recall, the comedienne confirmed her separation from her former partner Lee O’Brian last December 2021.
In an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last February 3, 2023, the comedienne said that Malia saw her father with another girl and informed her mother. She also shared that she didn’t show to her daughter that she cried at that time.

Since confirming the breakup, the comedienne has been regularly sharing on her social media account how her younger daughter Malia helps her move on and keeps her happy when they both spend quality time together at home.
She previously announced that “Poklee Products” – her joint home-based food business with Lee – was no more and has been replaced with “Mama Pokwang’s Gourmet” starting this year.
Aside from this, the comedienne also announced that she’s now also a real estate agent in one of the properties in Bataan.
