“Mamang Sumbatero”, the song of Cristy Fermin for Willie Revillame
CRISTY FERMIN – The veteran entertainment host has dedicated two songs for Wowowin host Willie Revillame.
Revillame, a veteran game show host, has been making rounds in the past few days following his statement against his critics. It started after many seemed to have been celebrating the alleged cancellation of his program on ALLTV.
In one of the episodes of Wowowin, he also made a rant against his colleagues in the showbiz industry. Among those who were dragged in his so-called “panunumbat” were the names of Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz and Gab Valenciano.
But according to Fermin, she will never leave the side of Willie despite his words against her. In fact, in her YouTube program, “Showbiz Now Na,” she gave an advice to the latter especially about helping others wholeheartedly.
In the said show, the showbiz veteran also revealed that she has already forgiven the Wowowin host. However, because of the “panunumbat” of Revillame, she said that there might be people who will become hesitant on asking Willie’s help.
“Tinatanong niyo ako kung napatawad ko na si Willie. Sino naman ako para hindi makinig sa kanyang parang.. sabihin na natin na tawad. Malalim naman talaga yung ginawa niyang pagpapahiya sa amin. Sino naman ako para tumanggi. Sinabi ko sa kanya, hindi kita iiwan sa gitna ng laban,” Cristy Fermin said.
She asked her co-host what song should be sang for Willie. Among the songs were “Susumbatero”, inspired by the song “Babaero” and “Mamang Sumbatero” from the single “Mamang Sorbetero.’
